About FSA registration
By September 1, 2025, hotels*, sanatoriums, holiday parks (including glampings), and campsites were required to register in the state registry. By January 1, 2026, guest houses** must also obtain this registration.
Information from the registry is usually imported into Ostrovok Extranet automatically, but if you notice that the data has not appeared, please contact support.
About classification and star ratings
The certificate must be registered under the name of the person who signed the contract with Ostrovok Extranet.
The property name must not contain contradictory information about its type. For example, if the classification was completed under the type “hotel,” the name cannot include references to types such as “inn” or “guest house.”
The address on the website must fully match the address in the classification certificate.
Where the data is displayed
In Ostrovok Extranet, the property’s FSA registry number and status are displayed in the “Hotel” section (the “Information” tab, in the “Property on FSA registry” block).
Ostrovok users see this information on the property page in the description block.
Guest houses do not have a star category by default — this information applies only to hotels*, sanatoriums, holiday parks (including glampings), and campsites.
If the property has a star rating, meaning it has undergone classification and received a category, the information is displayed in the same place as the registry details: in the “Hotel” section → “Information” tab.
How quickly the data updates
The data is updated daily — you can be confident that information about registry inclusion and star assignment will appear promptly in Ostrovok Extranet and be available to Ostrovok users.
What happens if the property is not registered in the registry
We will be forced to hide from search results any properties that are not included in the registry or have the statuses “Inactive” or “Suspended”:
from September 1, 2025 — hotels*, sanatoriums, holiday parks (including glampings), and campsites;
from January 1, 2026 — guest houses**.
In this case, a warning will appear in Ostrovok Extranet.
If the star classification certificate is about to expire, a warning will appear in Ostrovok Extranet 30 days before its expiration.

*Hotels may include urban, suburban, and resort hotels, motels, boatels, aparthotels, hostels, boarding houses, and other similar accommodation facilities, including modular non-capital accommodation units.
**Guest houses from 18 regions must register in the FSA registry: Altai Krai, Altai Oblast, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Vladimir Oblast, Dagestan, Ivanovo Oblast, Irkutsk Oblast, Kaliningrad Oblast, Kemerovo Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, Leningrad Oblast, Primorsky Krai, Rostov Oblast, Stavropol Krai, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol city, as well as the federal territory of “Sirius,” and Kherson Oblast.
